If intermediella is indeed misplaced, then aeneella should probably be moved as well.
Adult Characteristics
Male genitalia depicted in Medvedev (1978). Wingspan 15.0 mm. Forewing shining yellowish brown, with two cream white spots on termen, including one at tornus.
Comparison with Similar Species
Said to be distinguishable from intermediella only by examination of the genitalia. In the male, cucullus is broad and with straight, flat apex (as opposed to narrow and wedge-shaped in intermediella), saccus long relative to vinculum, and with aedoeagal apex with slightly sclerotized cords.
